The third and final release from the best Neanderthal-psych avant-stoner band in Oakland (or the worst drunken children's choir in the western hemisphere), Heroine is a magnum opus of one the loudest, dreamiest, and lesser known bands from the bay area no-audience underground. Canyon crumbling polyrhythmic drums punctuate bulbous and charred guttural bass lines as lightning-tongued thunder gods snap sparks of clandestine poetry against the revolution of the clock and pedantry love rituals. Percussive mortars against the ego fade into celebratory incantations; a bell tolls the passing of electrified flux cascading tactile memes over the waterfalls of the mind. As the oceans of purple-gold angels recede back into the navel of the cosmos a declaration is writ in oscillating aluminum affect and a meteor shower signals the return to an ancient apprehension of equilibrium coursing from body to soil. As a 92 minute shamanic journey for the ears, this tape may be the missing link to comprehending the structured entropy of the mind in relation.
